It is our goal at Positive Image Photography to capture and create images that will touch your heart and be cherished for years to come. We believe that a great photograph is far more than an arrangement of form and color, it should record the feeling and emotion of a specific moment in time. When these visual and physical elements come together in "balance" we can then create an image with feeling and harmony.

Lewis Kincheloe is a PPA Certified, Master of Photography who together with his wife Carol, opened their studio in 1989. Lewis' eye and persona behind the camera, combined with Carol's business and customer service skills have made photography both exciting and rewarding as a profession. Texas Professional Photographer magazine described Lewis as "very much an artist, and has made a huge impact in the Austin area."

Mr. Kincheloe currently serves as Vice President for the Texas Professional Photographers Association. Lewis has won over sixty awards for his photography, including five images in PPA's Loan Collection and five Fuji Masterpiece Awards. In 2003, 2004,2005 and 2007 he awarded trophy's for "Best Custom Wedding Album" from the Texas PPA. Lewis' work is also included in the International Photography Hall of Fame in Oklahoma City, OK.
